A new report claims that a small group of Blizzard employees walked out of work on Tuesday afternoon following major controversy around the company’s stance on political speech. The PR disaster for Blizzard began when the company rolled out disciplinary action towards the Asia-Pacific Grandmasters Hearthstone tournament winner, Chung Ng Wai. The statement he made during a live broadcast involved the ongoing protests in Hong Kong, which he endorsed the liberation of the area from China’s government....

Prolific character actor Jason Wingreen, best known for playing a bartender on All in the Family and voicing Boba Fett in Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back, has died at age 95. He passed away in his Los Angeles home on Christmas Day. A look at Wingreen’s IMDb page shows that the actor had nearly 200 screen credits throughout his storied career from 1955 until the mid-1990s. His most prominent and prolonged role was as Harry Snowden, the popular bartender at Kelsey’s Bar, which was frequented and later purchased by his friend Archie Bunker (Carroll O’Connor) on All in the Family and spin-off series Archie Bunker’s Place....

Call of Duty: Black Ops 4’s microtransactions are even worse than gamers originally thought. Not only is the game beginning to move away from single player narratives, it’s designed to heavily favor gamers who are willing to buy their cosmetic rewards rather than play for them. With a renewed focus on its multiplayer experience, Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 was met with high praise at launch. However, though gamers applauded its various in-game mechanics and play, microtransactions are proving to create an uneven playing field in which players are expected to spend actual money in order to potentially reap every benefit from the game....

Chadwick Boseman’s T’Challa perished in Avengers: Infinity War, but that isn’t stopping the Black Panther superhero from returning in Avengers: Endgame. After first appearing in Captain America: Civil War, Boseman starred in his Black Panther solo movie last year, which sent him skyrocketing into stardom - and even the character’s death can’t keep him down. Black Panther was the first blockbuster to hold the number one slot at the box office for five weeks running since Avatar in 2009; it was only the third movie in history to pass $700 million at the domestic box office, even outgrossing Avengers: Infinity War....

Within 5 years, Apple could send data to your iPhone directly from the Earth’s atmosphere. At least, that appears to be its goal according to a new report from Bloomberg. The company is said to be hiring software, hardware, and aerospace engineers to find new methods of data transfer for the iPhone and its other fleet of consumer products. Back in 2017, Bloomberg first reported that Apple was interested in the arena of satellites, having purportedly held talks with Boeing over a low-earth satellite endeavor that would expand internet access for developing nations....

Bloomberg reported earlier this year that Apple had a team of over 100 product designers working on a wristwatch-like device. At the time, we noted that all the recent rumors and intel surrounding the iWatch seemed like the lead up to an impending product launch. Bloomberg is out with a new report today, claiming Apple will indeed launch its watch product in 2013: The report added information about some of the potential features of the device that we had also heard of previously, including the ability to receive incoming calls, view maps, and record health data via various sensors:...

Dave Bautista says he wants to play Hinx again in the 25th film in the James Bond franchise, but he realizes the film hinges on the return of Daniel Craig as 007. While Bautista appeared in a couple films prior to 2014’s Guardians of the Galaxy, there’s no question that his turn as Drax the Destroyer was a breakout role for the former WWE star. It opened up huge opportunities for the actor, including a role as the henchman Hinx in 2015 James Bond film Spectre....

On Showtime, Billions season 4 has premiered and Bobby Axelrod is already making horrible decisions. In Billions, Damian Lewis portrays the founder of Axe Capital, an alpha male with a unique circle of faux friends. Based on the mogul’s heightened sense of importance and unchecked ambition, Axe will likely spiral out of control in Billions season 4. In Billions season 3, a non-binary prodigy named Taylor Mason (Asia Kate Dillon) left Axe Capital to form her own company, Taylor Mason Capital....

Marvel Studios premieres another look at their upcoming Black Widow movie during Super Bowl LIV.
