As rumors of iPad updates continue to swirl, a new report from Bloomberg today offers additional details. According to the report, Apple could announce new iPad Pro models “as early as April,” with updates to the iPad mini and entry-level iPad also expected sometime this year. The primary new detail in today’s Bloomberg report is that Apple has tested new iPad Pro models with a Thunderbolt port. Currently, the iPad Pro uses USB-C connectivity, which features the same port design but more limited expandability....

As we previously reported, the new software makes it easier to sync data between a Mac and a BlackBerry. It will sync contacts, calendar appointments, tasks and notes from Apple apps including iCal and Address Book. The software will also let BlackBerry users add and remove applications from their device, schedule back-ups, encrypt back-up files and install software update. In a move which Apple may act against, given its recent action to prevent Palm’s Pre in doing this, the BlackBerry software will let users sync their device with their iTunes library, though this presumably will only sync more recent iTunes purchases which lack DRM, and music copied from a CD....

Curb Your Enthusiasm and Arrested Development actor Bob Einstein has passed away at the age of 76. The two-time Emmy winner was recently diagnosed with cancer. The brother of actor-director Albert Brooks (whose real name is Albert Einstein), Bob Einstein broke into television in the 1960s as a writer on The Smothers Brothers Comedy Hour and The Sonny & Cher Comedy Hour. Einstein would later distinguish himself as a comedic performer, first through his memorable character Super Dave Osborne, and later as a featured player on shows like Curb Your Enthusiasm and Arrested Development....

At least three major Bitcoin wallets are vulnerable to fraud, and could even be completely bricked, leaving them unusable by their owners, according to new research. Ledger Live, Edge, and Breadwallet (BRD) were all found to be vulnerable to the security flaw, but they may not be the only ones… Coindesk reports that the flaw was discovered by an Israeli firm.
