Marvel Studios has a game-changer on their hands with Black Panther, a film which is breaking records in its critical acclaim and box office accolades around the world. It’s one of the top Marvel movies already and sequels and spinoffs are happily inevitable. And Marvel knew this was the case early during production when they were able to lock down director Ryan Coogler (Creed, Fruitvale Station) and were able to assemble a cast that even surprised them....

Black Widow finally has her own dedicated action figure range - including the first ever deluxe Marvel Legends. Marvel Studios hasn’t always had the best reputation for commissioning action figures for female characters, to the extent that directors such as James Gunn have openly admitted they’ve had to push for toy companies to make models of the women as well as the men. The general assumption was that action figures based on female characters wouldn’t sell....

Film production company Blumhouse will soon team up with Lost co-creator Damon Lindelof for a new politically motivated action thriller titled The Hunt. Jason Blum, along with Lindelof, will also produce the movie. Z for Zachariah director Craig Zobel will direct, with Lindelof and Nick Cuse writing the script. Cuse is the son of Lindelof’s fellow Lost writer Carlton Cuse. The three men know each through working together on HBO’s The Leftovers....

Blumhouse has hired its first female director for Hulu’s Into the Dark series. The production company behind films like Get Out, the Purge franchise, and this year’s Halloween has hired director Sophia Takal to helm an all-female horror project titled New Year New You. New Year New You will be the fourth episode in the horror anthology series from Blumhouse airing exclusively on Hulu. Into the Dark has been recognized as Hulu’s version of Black Mirror, the sci-fi anthology series on Netflix....

Bob’s Burgers is a comedy filled with hilarious one-liners and situational humor. While most fans are aware of the distinct personalities of the different members of the Belcher family, many of the side characters are really funny, too. Other than the five Belchers, Uncle Teddy is the character on the show who shows up the most. He’s basically family even though he’s not related, and his earnest personality and love of burgers makes him the perfect friend and supporter....

Sometimes it’s hard to believe that, considering Netflix’s tsunami-like approach to content, one of the best original programs the streaming giant has in its enormous and ever-growing library is an animated series about an alcoholic anthropomorphized horse and the strange, entertainment-obsessed, satirical world in which he resides. As such, it’s equally hard to believe that BoJack Horseman is set to bring its story full circle with an oddly spilt sixth and final season....

Even though Jimmy McGill’s transformation into Saul Goodman is inevitable, viewers are still compelled by the dynamics provided by characters like Chuck, Howard, Kim, and Nacho....

Gamers anxiously ready to get back to the wonderful world of BioShock might not have to wait much longer: it looks like a new title in the franchise is currently in development. The BioShock titles originally took players to the underworld retro world of Rapture, where humans shoot themselves up regularly with supernatural powers to the point that they’re not quite so human anymore. Meanwhile, little girls who look like they’re dead inside roam the abandoned hallways of Rapture, searching for ADAM, a substance that allows for ability development....

Fresh off her breakup with the Joker, Harley (Margot Robbie) is looking to reinvent herself and find a new place in life when she meets superheroes Black Canary (Jurnee Smollett-Bell), Huntress (Mary Elizabeth Winstead) and Renee Montoya (Rosie Perez) as they try to protect a young girl (Ella Jay Basco) from the villainous Roman Sionis (Ewan McGregor)....

The CW is already the go-to channel for anybody looking for a buffet of superhero TV. What started as a show based on a lesser-known Justice League hero has spawned into a massive universe - Arrow enabled The Flash, which both led to Legends of Tomorrow, and then Supergirl joined the fun when its second season made the jump to the channel from CBS. If four weekly shows aren’t enough of a fix, though, fret not - Black Lightning is coming....

Marvel Studios officially confirms Black Panther 2 is in development. After being introduced in 2016’s Captain America: Civil War, T’Challa headlined his own standalone film last year. And though Marvel Studios has produced two of the handful of films to earn more than $2 billion at the worldwide box office, Black Panther is undoubtedly one of their greatest achievements. The third Blade Runner 2049 trailer has arrived, giving audiences a more detailed look at Denis Villeneuve’s highly-anticipated sequel to Ridley Scott’s iconic 1982 film, Blade Runner. Almost three decades have passed since Scott’s original film hit theaters and the upcoming movie follows the story in relative real-time (30 years later), thereby allowing Harrison Ford to reprise his role as Rick Deckard. This movie marks the third time in which Ford has returned to a character after several years, the other two being Star Wars and Indiana Jones....

Mr. Robot and Bohemian Rhapsody star Rami Malek has reportedly been considered to play the villain in Bond 25. After Danny Boyle briefly joined the project as director, the 25th James Bond film is now going forward with True Detective helmer Cary Fukunaga at the controls. Daniel Craig is also on-board for his fifth go-around as 007. When it comes to James Bond, creating a compelling main villain is, of course, a crucial element....

The Big Bang Theory is using Penny (Kaley Cuoco) and Leonard’s (Johnny Galecki) baby conflict to distract people’s attention from the fact that the other characters’ have barely had any arcs in the show’s final season. Announced to be the final season a month before its premiere, people involved in the series promised nothing but a satisfying ending for the nerdy gang from Pasadena. But considering the lack of progress for most of the characters with just nine episodes left, it seems like the long-running sitcom is heading for a disappointing send-off....

After complaints from players - and other developers - about its endgame drop rates, BioWare has made some Anthem loot changes designed to improve access to useful endgame gear and improve the crafting process for endgame equipment. This was announced by the game’s lead producer, Ben Irving, in a Reddit thread outlining some other significant changes that would arrive in the upcoming patch. Anthem has only been out for a week (two, really), but the pushback from players and criticisms from press reviews have been vocal in the wake of a variety of issues that warranted a significant Day One patch....

Danish filmmaker Susanne Bier will not rule out a sequel to Netflix’s hit post-apocalyptic thriller Bird Box. It has been less than a month since the film debuted on Netflix, and it has been a massive success for the streaming juggernaut. The movie managed to attract over 45 million viewers in its first week and the film’s ending does leave room for more to tell, so it wouldn’t be surprising if Netflix decided to announce a sequel....

David Harbour is done filming his role as Red Guardian in Black Widow. The recent Stranger Things star officially joined the Marvel Cinematic Universe this summer when he was announced as a cast member in Scarlett Johansson’s solo film. The addition of Harbour was previously reported, but the confirmation by Marvel Studios also brought word that he would play the character of Alexi Shostakov in the MCU. Harbour is one of my new additions to the MCU who will make their debuts in Black Widow....

David Harbour’s Red Guardian could play an important role in Black Widow - as Natasha Romanoff’s husband. Marvel Studios has cast Stranger Things star David Harbour as the Red Guardian, essentially the Russian Captain America, a classic comic book character created by Roy Thomas and John Buscema back in 1967. Marvel Comics had always imagined that its stories are told in “the world outside your window,” albeit a version of that world populated by superheroes and with occasional alien invasions....
