Jay Roach’s latest incendiary film, Bombshell, tells the harrowing true story of three Fox News employees who take the initiative to finally stand up against their predatory male superiors, launching another integral chapter in the #MeToo movement - but how much of the movie actually happened and how much of it was changed for the big screen? With his feature followup to 2015’s blacklist drama Trumbo, Roach has teamed up with leading ladies Charlize Theron, Nicole Kidman, and Margot Robbie to dispel the institutional corruption and harassment present in the controversial and conservative outlet....

Birds of Prey has been in the works since the Suicide Squad premiered back in 2016. Fans were impressed with Margot Robbie’s Harley Quinn and of course, DC saw an opportunity. The film will be released in February on the 7th this year and fans are anticipating how much they will truly enjoy this female empowerment movie. Harley has a new crew, she’s dumped her toxic man and 2020 is going to be her year....

Birds of Prey (and the Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn), uses footage from 2016’s Suicide Squad, according to the film’s director, Cathy Yan. The scene that uses the footage is featured in the second trailer Warner Bros released for the movie. In a few shots at the beginning of the trailer, Harley Quinn (Margot Robbie) crashes a gas truck (or similar) into the ACE Chemical Plant. The resulting explosion is nothing short of epic, and Harley walks away unharmed....

Killmonger can return in Black Panther 2 without ruining the end of the original Black Panther. With T’Challa and the rest of Wakanda back from the dead after Avengers: Endgame, all eyes are on where the Black Panther sequel will take the franchise. Black Panther was as much a cultural event as a superhero blockbuster, and it’s going to be a real challenge to repeat that. At the moment, it looks as though Marvel’s strategy is to ensure all the key players from the first film are involved in the sequel....

Ryan Coogler’s Black Panther hasn’t opened in theaters just yet, but that hasn’t stopped the writer/director from revealing a deleted scene involving Lupita Nyong’o’s Nakia that didn’t make the final cut. Once again sticking Chadwick Boseman in a vibranium suit after 2016’s Captain America: Civil War, the 18th Marvel Cinematic Universe movie is all anyone can talk about at the moment. Pitting T’Challa against enemies like Erik Killmonger and Ulysses Klaue, the film also introduces Marvel comic book favorites like Shuri and M’Baku....

Blade Runner 2049 is one of the highly anticipated films of 2017 and for good reason. It may be a sequel coming in over 30 years after the original Ridley Scott-directed classic, but a lot of great talent is involved with this film, including Scott as an executive producer. As teased in the announcement trailer, the upcoming film from director Denis Villenueve (Arrival, Sicario) stars Ryan Gosling as an L.A. police officer in the process of uncovering a mystery, which leads him on a quest to find Rick Deckard, played by a returning Harrison Ford....

New Funko Pop! figures from Deadpool 2 have been revealed, including one of the title character dressed up as Bob Ross. Promotion for the sequel has been appropriately bizarre at times, with uniquely zany viral marketing campaigns building more anticipation for it while revealing very little in the way of details. But fans have at least gotten their first look at an official Deadpool 2 trailer at the start of February, just over three months before its May 18 release date....

Bill & Ted Face the Music star Alex Winter took to Twitter this morning to express his thoughts on one designer’s take on a LEGO set dedicated to the 1989 classic. The original film, Bill and Ted’s Excellent Adventure, follows Ted Logan and Bill S. Preston, Esq., two San Dimas teenagers, as they travel through time to meet different historical figures and gather information for their school project. Taskmaster is set to be the villain of Marvel Studios’ Black Widow, but there may be a surprise to who is behind the mask. Scarlett Johansson’s Natasha Romanoff has long been a fan-favorite character in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. And, after supporting roles in a few different sequels and all four Avengers movies, Marvel Studios is finally giving her a solo film. Officially confirmed at San Diego Comic-Con 2019, Black Widow hits theaters on May 1, 2020....

Major spoilers for Blade Runner 2049. - Blade Runner 2049 is an exemplary sequel for its complete lack of plot holes and contrivances in relation to the original - with the exception of one key retcon regarding Blade Runner “partner” Gaff. While legacy-quels - belated follow-ups to fan favorite classics - tend to be full of reverence to the original, they typically also wind up creating their fair share of plot holes....

The Big Bang Theory had an entirely different title before its debut in 2007. CBS’ popular nerdy show wrapped its 12-season run last May shortly after becoming the longest-running multi-camera show. Starting with only five main characters - Sheldon (Jim Parsons), Leonard (Johnny Galecki), Penny (Kaley Cuoco), Howard (Simon Helberg) and Raj (Kunal Nayyar) - the series brought in Bernadette (Melissa Rauch) and Amy (Mayim Bialik) as regulars by season 4....

Amy Farrah Fowler went from being the weird character who was just as much of an outsider as Sheldon to, in many ways, becoming the heart and soul of The Big Bang Theory. It was her love for her friends that often became the driving force behind later episodes, which is something fans wouldn’t expect from the sitcom’s early episodes. Our favorite group of friends on The Big Bang Theory faced many challenges throughout 12 seasons. From Swedish researchers outdoing them on their own projects, through losing out on tenure to missing out on Comic-Con, there’s only so much a person can take. Another more serious issue that these group of men (okay, and Amy) faced their entire lives are bullies. We’ve all heard horror stories of these men getting picked on throughout their childhood, which made fans happy that they all turned out to be such a success in their adult years....

It covered manufacturing defects and hardware failure but excluded any accidental damage. If you dropped it, you were out of luck. Big Little Lies hasn’t wasted any time leaning into the drama during its second season, teasing a potential character death. It’s only episode 2 and if we’re not mistaken, “Tell-Tale Hearts” seems to have implied that a major character might drown this season. If things do move in that direction, the unfortunate victim might be Bonnie, last season’s heroine. Despite not questioning the righteousness of her decision to shove abusive husband Perry (Alexander Skarsgård) off a ledge, season 2’s Bonnie (Zoë Kravitz) is buckling under the pressure of keeping everything a secret....
