Update: T-Mobile has now removed its original tweet. According to a tweet from T-Mobile UK’s Twitter account, the previously announced BlackBerry Messenger service will be arriving on both Android and iOS later this month on June 27. A release date for the BBM service, which will arrive for the first time on iOS and Android as a free download, has not officially been announced by BlackBerry, but the tweet from T-Mobile is a pretty good indication on when we will see the service begin to roll out....

HBO has certainly developed a reputation as the source for the best shows on television, and that reputation is well earned. Honestly, before HBO decided to really up their game when it came to original content, prestige television that had the production value of an expensive film and was meant to be art as well as TV really didn’t exist at all. And one of their most spectacular forays into prestige television is undoubtedly their Prohibition era crime drama, Boardwalk Empire....

Warner Bros. is still developing Booster Gold according to writer and director Greg Berlanti. A few years back, reports surfaced that Berlanti - who is always busy keeping track of the Arrowverse on The CW - was developing a solo movie for Booster Gold. The notion of the time-traveling, fame-seeking hero potentially getting his own movie came as a surprise. Those feelings were only heightened when Berlanti said he was developing it with the idea that Booster Gold wouldn’t take place in the DCEU....

DCEU’s Birds of Prey has introduced mainstream audiences to a number of comic book characters that they may not have been exposed to before. The actors and actresses behind the roles really bring their all to replicate the mannerisms of the source material. Renee Montoya is one of the characters in the film that eventually joins the Birds of Prey. Going by The Question in the comics, this character is expertly played by Rosie Perez....

In Black Mirror: Bandersnatch, a video game programmer named Stefan (Fionn Whitehead) is in the process of developing a brand new game based on a choose-your-own adventure novel in 1984....

Last Updated: March 10, 2020 The nefarious assassin and mercenary-for-hire, Taskmaster, will be making his MCU debut in the highly-anticipated prequel Black Widow, and from the looks of it, he’ll be equipped with skills and techniques that he’s borrowed from other Avengers. Disney and Marvel have dropped multiple trailers for the film, and in them, fans get a good look at Natasha’s previous family before her time with the Avengers. Viewers also see glimpses of the movie’s primary villain, and and some instances of Natasha coming to blows with the masked antagonist....

Netflix releases the Between Two Ferns: The Movie trailer. Directed by Scott Aukerman, the mockumentary is based on the original series hosted by Zach Galifianakis. Featuring numerous celebrity appearances, Between Two Ferns: The Movie was produced by Funny or Die, and co-written by Aukerman and Galifianakis. In the original Between Two Ferns web series, Galifianakis interviews celebrity guests. The production design is minimal, in the style of a public access program....

Keanu Reeves and Alex Winter are officially returning to play the world’s most righteous rock n’ roll time travelers in Bill & Ted 3. Here’s who stood in for the role of Joker in Birds of Prey (And the Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn) in place of Jared Leto. The character had previously been played by Jared Leto in the DC Extended Universe with his portrayal in David Ayer’s Suicide Squad. Since Birds of Prey focused on Harley Quinn (Margot Robbie) and her epic female team-up, the Joker’s presence wasn’t necessary, but it was still somewhat felt....

Chadwick Boseman’s T’Challa is meant to be the James Bond of the Marvel Cinematic Universe in the upcoming Black Panther movie. Creed and Fruitvale Station director Ryan Coogler is helming the highly-anticipated superhero film for Marvel Studios, based on a script he co-wrote with American Crime Story writer-producer Joe Robert Cole, with Boseman reprising his role as the superhero Black Panther from Anthony and Joe Russo’s Captain America: Civil War....

Bloodborne could be making its way to the silver screen. James Gunn, director of Guardians of the Galaxy, is teasing a brand new project as part of Comic-Con 2018, with the reveal taking place in Sony’s Hall H panel on Friday. Although this mystery film is still very much in the air, there are signs to suggest that Gunn is making a Bloodborne movie. Time is nearly up to find out exactly what Gunn has in store for audiences, but the image shared by the director is much too close to the Heir rune from the FromSoftware-developed title for comfort....
