The Big Bang Theory’s final season might see Leonard (Johnny Galecki) donating his sperm for Penny’s (Kaley Cuoco) ex-boyfriend, Zack (Brian Thomas Smith) and his new wife, Marissa’s (Lindsey Kraft) baby - potentially paying off the very first scene of the whole series. Wrapping up after 12 seasons, CBS’ long-running sitcom is pulling all the stops to make sure that the show’s last outing will be satisfying for everyone. That includes invoking a little bit of nostalgia as a reward for those who have stayed with them for more than a decade....

Microsoft co-founder and billionaire philanthropist Bill Gates is set to guest star on CBS sitcom The Big Bang Theory during season 11. The 62-year-old tech titan is of course one of the world’s richest men, with an estimated net worth of over $80 billion. He’d actually be much richer at this point, were it not for Gates opting to frequently donate large portions of his vast wealth to charitable causes, and operate his own charities alongside wife Melinda....

With the rise in popularity of comic book superhero adaptations on the big screen, the trend has carried over to the small screen. Marvel Studios boss Kevin Feige made waves this weekend when he ended Marvel’s Hall H presentation with the announcement of a Blade movie starring Mahershala Ali - and he has now confirmed that Blade will be part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s Phase Five. The MCU Phase Four release slate, which currently consists of five movies and five Disney+ TV shows, will only last for two years (2020-2021) before Marvel moves on to Phase Five....

In a profile of Apple SVP Jeff Williams, now widely expected to be next-in-line for the CEO job whenever Tim Cook decides to leave the company, Bloomberg cites employee sources that paint a picture of Williams as a Cook-doppelganger. Williams now oversees all of Apple’s hardware development and design. The report says a weekly review meeting is formally called ‘New Product Review’, but some employees refer to it as the ‘Jeff Review’, as it is he who they need to impress....

With Bond 25 in need of a new director, Jean-Marc Vallee has reportedly been approached about taking the job. Following Daniel Craig’s uncertainty surrounding a fifth appearance as James Bond, the next entry finally started to gain momentum over the last several months. EON and MGM looked at several big name directors before eventually finding Danny Boyle and naming him as their choice. His hiring came after it was agreed that he would develop an original Bond story with his longtime writing partner John Hodge, but due to creative differences coming from his vision, Boyle exited the project earlier this week....

Nicole Kidman and Reese Witherspoon have finally addressed the controversy surrounding Andrea Arnold’s creative control on Big Little Lies season 2. HBO’s televised adaptation of Liane Moriarty’s novel of the same name rose to monumental success after premiering on the streaming service. Though originally intended to solely be a limited series, Big Little Lies season 2 was ordered by HBO and was set to tackle the outcome of the first season’s climactic finale....

DC’s upcoming Birds of Prey (and the Fantabulous Emancipation of one Harley Quinn) is set to wrap filming next April, and its screenwriter is confident that Margot Robbie’s Harley Quinn won’t be in anyone’s shadow. Christina Hodson wrote the 2018 film Bumblebee and teamed up with director Cathy Yan for Birds of Prey (and the Fantabulous Emancipation of one Harley Quinn). In 2016, DC released the third movie of the DCEU (DC Extended Universe), Suicide Squad....

Ever since Johansson made her MCU debut in Iron Man 2, she has played one of the most requested characters to receive a solo spin-off movie. Those requests only grew in number after she co-starred in Captain America: The Winter Soldier and played key roles in both Avengers: Age of Ultron and Captain America: Civil War....

The Typo iPhone case has been blocked from sale by BlackBerry, according to a report from Reuters. The smartphone maker sued over the design of the case earlier this year, saying that it infringed on several of the company’s patents and its “iconic” keyboard design. The case is designed to add a BlackBerry-like keyboard to the iPhone 5 and 5s. The injunction blocks the sale of the Typo, which is made by a company co-founded by TV personality Ryan Seacrest....

Last week Mozilla announced that its Firefox browser would be dropping Google as the default search engine in favor of Yahoo. While it’s a good move for Yahoo, it won’t gain the company the exposure that comes with being the default search engine on something more widely used, such as Apple’s Safari browser on iOS devices. That position has been held by Google since the iPhone’s launch in 2007, but the agreement that made the Mountain View-based company the default site for all of Safari’s searches will expire next year, and The Information reports that Yahoo and Microsoft’s Bing are both vying for the spot....

Of course, there are other ways to speed up computers, without using other programs, but those require money to be invested, such as buying more RAM, or buying a SSD drive, or even installing Windows 8, that has really revamped its boot up process, now taking much less time than what it used to (but with all of this innovation, some users still want to downgrade to Windows 7)....

A new clip from the Better Call Saul season 4 premiere hints at serious trouble in the show’s post-Breaking Bad storyline. In a smart move, co-creators Vince Gilligan and Peter Gould opted to make Saul more than just a prequel series; each season includes sequences that are set after Breaking Bad, with Jimmy McGill now living as “Gene,” manager of a Cinnabon in Omaha. During the third season, audiences were left with a cliffhanger, as Gene collapsed at work following a lunch break....
