In Borderlands 3, players can get over 100 different legendary weapons, and Gearbox Software will be releasing even more in future DLC. One of these many weapons is the legendary shotgun called the “One Pump Chump”. On the surface, this shotgun doesn’t seem too great. It has average stats for a gun of this rarity, and it needs to be reloaded after every shot. However, while its stats are nothing to write home about, it contains some great weapon perks.

The One Pump Chump gives has over 1,000% weapon damage and an increased reload speed. The legendary gun also has a 50% chance to not consume ammo when fired, so the one bullet magazine issue can be negated. With so many legendary weapons in the game, it can get overwhelming trying to obtain them all. This guide will help players find the One Pump Chump legendary shotgun and subsequently defeat the boss in order to receive it.

Finding the One Pump Chump in Borderlands 3

The One Pump Chump is located in Lectra City, which is on Promethea. When players enter the city, they will need to hug the left side and walk until they reach the southeast corner, next to a New-U station. On the other side of that area is a subway entrance that players can enter. Head inside and through the tunnel. After walking for a bit, players should run into some Fanatics. Defeat them and take a left turn down a hallway.

There will be some switches on the left that will open a locked door. From left to right, players will see a: Button, Handle, Switch, Wheel, and Lever. Interact with them in a certain order to turn on all five televisions and trigger the boss fight. The order is:

Button, Wheel, Lever, Handle, Handle

This will turn on every TV and the boss, One Punch Man, will enter the room.

One Punch Man Boss Fight in Borderlands 3

Like his namesake, One Punch Man can kill players in one hit. Keeping him at a distance is important due to his devastating attacks. He will leap towards players and hit them, so stay as mobile as possible.

One Punch Man has pretty low health compared to other bosses, so if players can manage to stay away from him, the fight won’t be too challenging. Sniper Rifles and other high damaging ranged weapons are ideal to use in this battle. After defeating him, he will drop the One Pump Chump. The perks are randomized, but it will always have over 1,000% weapon damage.
