Billie Eilish’s theme for Bond 25, No Time To Die, will finally drop tomorrow. Original theme music has been a staple of the James Bond movies throughout their entire run. Traditionally, the original song plays during the highly-stylized, opening credits. The songs serve to help set the mood for the movie. It has been considered to be an honor for the musicians given the chance to perform the Bond theme.

Some of the biggest names in music have provided the theme music for Bond movies. In recent history, Sam Smith performed the song “Writing’s on the Wall” for Spectre, and Adele performed “Skyfall,” a song that was given the same name as the movie itself. In January of 2020, after much speculation, it was confirmed that Billie Eilish would provide the theme music for Bond 25. At eighteen years of age, Eilish is the youngest musician ever to record a Bond theme.

On Wednesday afternoon, Eilish announced on her Twitter account that the song would drop tomorrow, February 13th at 4 PM PT. The song is titled the same as its movie, No Time To Die. A 13-second clip was included in the tweet, featuring graphics with the logo set to a short, instrumental preview of the song. The tweet states that the song was written and performed by the young artist. Check out the clip below:

Eilish is credited as a co-writer, along with her brother and producer, Finneas O’Connell. 2019 was a huge year for Eilish, who recently won five Grammys at the 62nd Annual Grammy Awards. Eilish also performed a rendition of “Yesterday,” by the Beatles, this past weekend at the Oscars. Eilish and O’Connell aren’t the only big music names tied to No Time To Die. Hans Zimmer will be providing the score for the movie.

Billie Eilish’s career has been skyrocketing, and she is one of the biggest names in popular music today. Her new theme for No Time To Die has been highly anticipated since the announcement was made at the start of the year. As the Bond theme tends to set the tone for the rest of the movie, Eilish’s new song may provide some background on what to expect from the movie. Bond 25 will be Daniel Craig’s final movie as the titular character, and it’ll be sad to see the actor go after a decade and a half of portraying 007. No Time To Die will hit theaters on April 10, 2020.
