There’s a new forty-hour story mode, which features the newest chapter in the series. In addition, there will be over thirty new characters with compelling visual designs and “creative combat mechanics.” Over sixty new stages have been added to the game. These stages are rendered in 3D and give contrast to the hand drawn 2D figures. These 2D figures mainly consist of fighter sprites.
BlazBlue: Central Fiction will feature new game mechanics such as Massive Exceed Accel attacks that will finish Overdrive mode with a bang. Active Flow will encourage aggressive play and increases offensive power. Two new game modes called Speed Star Mode and Alliance Mode have also been added, and stylish type has been included. This simplifies the controls for the player and let’s them not get caught up in complex input commands.
The exact release date has yet to be announced, but we can be sure to expect the game by winter 2016 at the latest.
